It has taken decades of dedicated work to produce this dream hybrid. The female parent is a N. rajah which is one of the four clones donated in-vitro from the Royal Botanic Gardens Kew and the male parent is the giant black N. robcantleyi, with the cultivar name ‘King of Spades'.
