We are very excited to offer this rarely available species!
Random assortment from 4 clones, originating in tissue culture from Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew.
Description: This is the undisputed King of all Nepenthes and everyone will be familiar with it. The large peltate leaves produce enormous purple pitchers which have been recorded to consume small mammals!
These four clones comprising this item originated from the microprop lab of Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew in the late 1990’s. We have grown all four clones to maturity, and they all have identical appearance and are typical of the species. We regret that we cannot supply individual numbered clones of this item.
History: After discontinuing their PDF pricelist some years ago, this very sought-after item then appeared on Borneo Exotics auctions in November 2018 and was last auctioned in August 2019. It was added to the online shop in June 2020 and rapidly sold out. It then returned to the shop in April 2021 and once again sold out immediately. It last returned to the shop in July 2021 with the addition of small plants to increase availability (previously they were only offered at XS).
