From a single carefully selected clone out of microprop.
Nepenthes bellii is perhaps the smallest species in the genus and has pitchers that mimic the appearance of those of the giant N. merrilliana in form, but at a tiny fraction of their size. The diminutive growth habit of the plant makes it great for compact spaces, such as terrariums.
Although a close relative to the giant N. merrilliana, this is a diminutive species. This particular clone was selected in microprop as the best out of 24 clones, for its orange and red pitcher coloration and lime-green peristome.
