This is a lovely hybrid and is a specific clone selected from amongst many for its amazing two-tone peristome.
Origin: Horticultural, bred by Borneo Exotics. The female parent is N. (maxima x talangensis) selected from the same grex of plants as the award winning cultivar Nepenthes ‘Lady Pauline’ (‘Lady Pauline’ in fact turned out to be a male plant). The male parent is a giant and exceptionally black N. robcantleyi, which is one of the original six and has the cultivar name ‘King of Spades’.
